12th Chennai International Film Festival (CIFF)

Dear Media Personalities, Media Aspirants and Movie Buffs,

I’m happy to share the information with you that 12th Chennai International Film Festival (CIFF) is going to be held from 18th to 25th December, 2014. Chennai International Film Festival (CIFF) is being organized by Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation (ICAF). ICAF started organizing Chennai International Film Festival in the year 2003. 165 films from 58 countries were screened last year which included films that won awards in Cannes, Berlin and Venice IFFs. We can expect the same number of films this year too. It’s a great opportunity for the movie buffs and media professionals.

A few Tamil feature films also will compete for the CIFF Award for Best Film (Director & Producer), Second Best Film (Director & Producer) & the Special Jury Award.

You get to meet the celebrities including the directors and actors of the films that are screened. You get an opportunity to interact with them, shoot your questions, etc. It will be a great entertainment and learning too. I thoroughly enjoyed last two year’s festival and had written several blog posts on that.  Continue reading »
